Job Summary
Sr. Manager, Implementation to lead YesF’s work translating education freedom policy into executable, scalable programs. Drive day-to-day implementation across federal and state priorities, translate policy into action, develop tools, solve operational challenges, and support programs that are simple, accessible, and effective for families. Oversee content and messaging across public affairs and advocacy initiatives, digital and social media execution, earned media activities, and collaboration with designers, videographers, and researchers to produce external communications and translate research findings into accessible public-facing content. Manage content workflows, timelines, approvals, and documentation, and support reporting and performance metrics in a remote, travel-enabled role.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in communications, public relations, journalism, advocacy, or a related field
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail and editorial judgment
- Experience with digital communications and social media strategy, including coordinating with external vendors
- Experience managing earned media and working with reporters in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated ability to create visual or graphic materials for external audiences
- Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to take strategic direction and execute independently
- Sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism in high-stakes or time-sensitive situations
- Comfort working collaboratively in a remote organization
