Communications Manager - Aviation

Communications Manager - Aviation at STV, onsite at the client jobsite in San Francisco, CA. Establish and manage a communications program for aviation projects at SFO, coordinating stakeholder and public touchpoints with clients, airlines, airport operators, employees, consumers, and media to promote a positive program perception. Develop strategic communications plans with program leadership, serve as the subject matter expert on program communications, and manage communications initiatives from concept to delivery. Create and update content for written materials, presentations, social media, digital kiosks, program website, and signage/wayfinding; design and publish comprehensive airport maps for public awareness during construction; maintain internal graphics libraries; write press-ready content and coordinate media coverage. Lead events planning and coordination (groundbreaking, milestones, openings), and ensure consistency of messaging across traditional and online media. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications, PR/Journalism or related field and 5–7+ years of related experience; strong writing, organization, and time-management skills; proficiency with Microsoft 365, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Photoshop); ability to manage multiple communication streams and translate complex information into campaigns, presentations, and visuals. A/E/C or Aviation industry knowledge is highly preferred and a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality graphics and content for varied audiences is expected.
