Job Summary
Lead the development and execution of the annual Communications Plan for Brazil across Helibras, Commercial Aircraft, and Defence and Space divisions. Manage media relations with local stakeholders, oversee PR agencies, and execute crisis communications strategies. Plan and coordinate high-level press events, trade shows, product demo tours, and executive briefings. Direct social media channels, audiovisual production, and digital campaigns to elevate brand awareness. Drive internal communication campaigns, community impact initiatives, and disaster relief efforts. Manage budgets, key messaging, and supplier relationships to ensure a unified corporate voice. Fluent in English and Portuguese with 10+ years in corporate communications and a solid background in the aviation industry. Based in São Paulo with 25% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, PR, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in corporate communications
- Solid background in the aviation/aerospace industry
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
- Proven experience in media relations, event management, project management, and executive support
- Exceptional written, verbal, and executive-level interpersonal skills
- Strong capability to influence senior leadership and media stakeholders
- Proactive self-starter with crisis resilience, agility, and multitasking skills
- Able to travel independently and at short notice 25%
- Awareness of any potential compliance risks
- Commitment to act with integrity
Desired Qualifications

- Familiarity with Airbus/Helibras ecosystem
- Fluency in Spanish and/or French
