Job Summary
Communications Intern will support WRI Indonesia's Communications Team within the Food, Land, and Water Program by developing social media content, assisting with website updates, media engagement, and communications analytics. The role includes coordinating content production, maintaining various communications products, and contributing to messaging strategies, with a focus on sustainability topics. Based in Jakarta with an office-flex hybrid arrangement, the internship reports to the Communications Officer and runs July 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026 as a paid position. The program emphasizes DEI commitments and collaborative, cross-cultural teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, International Relations, Environmental Studies, or other related fields
- Final-year students are welcome to apply
- Demonstrate interest in communications, digital media, content creation, storytelling, and sustainability-related issues
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and basic understanding of social media content planning, copywriting, and audience engagement strategies
- Basic knowledge of website content management system (CMS), media monitoring, or communications analytics is advantageous
- Ability to conduct desk research and synthesize information into digestible communications materials
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and multicultural team environment
- Legally able to conduct internship in Indonesia
- Duration and terms awareness (internship duration and paid status)
