Job Summary
Assist with weekly communications projects, create digital content for social media and email, and produce printed materials like sermon notes and posters using in-house printing. Collaborate with ministry leads to develop engaging visuals and photography for church events and storytelling, ensuring all output aligns with the church's brand and mission. Manage multiple projects from concept to completion while receiving coaching on digital media, graphic design, and communication strategies. This seasonal internship runs Tuesday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend availability for special initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and desire to serve the local church through creative communication
- Strong interest in communications, marketing, digital media, photography, videography, graphic design, or related creative field
- Basic experience with graphic design, social media, and photography
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to receive feedback, work collaboratively, and take initiative
- Commitment to Crossroads Bible Church's mission, values, and statement of faith
- Paid internship for applicants age 19+ or who have completed one year of college
Desired Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed coursework in communications, marketing, media, graphic design, photography, or related field
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, or Premiere Pro
- Experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, or other social platforms
- Experience with video editing, motion graphics, or photography
- Experience working in a church, nonprofit, ministry, or other mission-driven environment
- Experience using Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive
