Job Summary
Draft and edit press releases, blogs, guest stories, and newsletter content that reflects the organization's voice and values. Support the development of eNewsletters and email campaigns, assist in the design of communication materials aligned with visual branding, and help track analytics for email engagement. Participate in brainstorming sessions, team meetings, and Communications Calendar planning while providing support for fundraising campaigns and donor events. This part-time internship offers 10-15 hours per week with flexible scheduling to accommodate a school calendar, running from September 2026 through May 2027.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Ability to write clearly, concisely, and in a compelling voice tailored for different audiences and platforms
- Experience in creating both long-form content (blogs, press releases) and concise, compelling short-form content for social media
- Experience in graphic design
- Access to consistent and reliable transportation to travel between locations
- Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
- Proficiency in clear and effective written and verbal communication, and ability to develop trusting professional relationships
- A high standard of performance and integrity, and ability to lead by example to foster a positive workplace culture
