Job Summary
Communications Intern to support nonprofit communications/marketing and creative team. Responsibilities include researching up-to-date digital trends and stories for strategic campaigns, planning the digital content calendar for social media, web, and email marketing, creating marketing reports on digital assets, capturing photos and videos during field trips and classroom activities, brainstorming visual content designs for social media, email, digital ads, flyers, and website graphics, maintaining brand guidelines, researching community partnerships, sponsorships, grants, and outreach opportunities to boost organizational visibility and engagement. Preferred skills include proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite/Canva, video editing (Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut), photography/content creation, social media management/analytics, basic HTML/CSS, and a professional portfolio. Educational outcomes emphasize real-world branding projects, professional design workflows, and mentorship from experienced marketing professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Portfolio or samples of design work (required)
