Job Summary
Communications Intelligence Manager role focused on transforming complex, multi-source metrics into clear, persuasive narratives for Cisco’s Global Communications organization. Responsibilities include leading earned media and digital/social intelligence tracking, proactive landscape monitoring, international earned media coordination, narrative resonance analysis, and optimization of the intelligence tech stack. Duties also cover process design for data collection, cross-functional project management, executive-ready data visualization, and strategic storytelling with an emphasis on AI-enabled insights, predictive dashboards, and future-proofing the function through AI/tools integrations. Strong emphasis on translating data into actionable business decisions, influencing executive leadership, and collaborating with global teams to align local and global narratives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in communications, data analytics, or market research
- Earned Media expertise, ideally globally
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis
- Ability to translate complex datasets into clear narratives for senior leadership
- Strategic mindset and ability to connect macro trends to business objectives
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to present insights to senior leadership
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with media monitoring tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Meltwater) and AI-driven analytics platforms
- Leadership experience managing project timelines and cross-functional alignment in a global environment
