Job Summary
Lead planning, implementation, and optimization of telecommunications infrastructure, facility systems, and supporting equipment. Evaluate operational processes, resource requirements, and system performance to identify improvements. Analyze project costs, develop estimates, and support budget preparation while determining facility and equipment specifications. Design infrastructure expansions, oversee quality control, and coordinate contractor activities for construction and maintenance. Prepare technical reports and ensure compliance with government regulations, building codes, and safety standards. Maintain a Secret Clearance and report to Corporate and On-Site Project Managers.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering, telecommunications, facilities, or infrastructure experience
- Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office application
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, facility infrastructure, and construction principles
- Working knowledge of applicable regulations, building codes, and health and safety requirements
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively coordinate with government customers, project managers, contractors, technical teams, and other stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related work experience in lieu of education
- Minimum of 20 hours annually/required to maintain certificates if required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance
- Enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties
- Ability to lift up to thirty pounds, as necessary
