Job Summary
Lead internal communications and engagement across multiple facilities by developing strategies that align with business objectives and site priorities. Serve as a strategic advisor to operations leadership, translating complex operational initiatives into clear narratives for a diverse frontline workforce. Oversee communication platforms including intranet, digital signage, and SharePoint to deliver consistent messaging. Execute strategic storytelling efforts through employee interviews and implement engagement initiatives like recognition programs to strengthen culture and retention. Act as the key liaison between sites and corporate teams, ensuring messaging alignment and supporting crisis communication planning. Provide guidance to cross-functional teams and collaborate with site leadership to deliver strategic events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in internal communications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in internal communications, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or retail environments
- Demonstrated strategic storytelling capabilities
- Demonstrated strategic storytelling capabilities, including interviewing, writing, editing, and multimedia content creation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in SharePoint
- Proficiency in internal communications platforms
- Experience with event planning
- Experience with project management
- Experience with employee engagement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
