Job Summary
Lead and shape the end-to-end communications strategy for JPMorgan Chase's small business initiative within Consumer and Community Banking, coordinating across multiple lines of business to deliver unified messaging, external media relations, and internal advocacy. Drive executive communications, thought leadership, and content that positions the firm as a champion for small business; advise senior leaders on messaging, reputation management, and policy communications; mentor a communications team and collaborate with government relations, policy, marketing, and internal communications to maximize impact. Requires extensive experience in communications and media relations within financial services, strong storytelling and writing abilities, and a proven ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in communications, media relations, public affairs, or related field, ideally within financial services or a large, complex organization
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong experience in internal and external communications, including media relations and policy communications
- Excellent storytelling, writing, and presentation skills
- Strategic thinker with a track record of advancing business and policy goals through communications
- Experience advising senior executives and managing high-profile initiatives
