Job Summary
Develop and implement a robust communications plan that tells ADP's story through varied platforms, including content calendars, social media, and digital advertising. Coordinate messaging with party partners, elected officials, and candidates to ensure alignment, while writing speeches, talking points, and managing press relations as the principal spokesperson. Supervise the Communications Department staff, providing regular feedback and assessing performance against departmental objectives. Manage the party's website and approve all external communications to positively represent the party during events and news cycles. This role reports to the Executive Director and Chair, requiring strong brand development skills and excellent writing ability.
Required Qualifications
- Brand development/management
- Communicate with the press in a professional, politically sensitive manner
- Excellent writing ability, specifically press releases, speeches, presentations, talking points, and social media content that are engaging
- Intermediate design skills for digital and print
- Digital advertising and digital marketing methodologies, programs, platforms, and management
