Job Summary
Manage Shelburne Farms social media channels by scheduling and executing 4-5 posts weekly across Instagram and Facebook, monitoring public inquiries, and reporting on performance metrics. Update web content on shelburnefarms.org and maintain the organization's presence on third-party sites like Google and TripAdvisor. Oversee print publications by updating designs, managing inventory, and distributing materials across departments. Contribute content to internal and community e-newsletters as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Professional experience in managing social media on behalf of a company or organization
- Expert knowledge of social media platforms, mainly Facebook and Instagram
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent written communication skills with care for the details
- Willingness to learn and abide by brand guidelines and best practices
- Proficiency in Google WorkSpace
- Move up to 25 lbs
- Traverse uneven terrain if on photography assignment
Desired Qualifications
- Facility with or willingness to learn web content management system, e-marketing software, and project management software
- Photography and/or video skills
- Familiarity with utilizing social media analytics to measure effectiveness
- Experience with Sprout Social (or similar social media dashboard)
