Job Summary
Communications Coordinator responsible for drafting and distributing client communications across newsletters, emails, websites, and campaigns; manage content calendars and coordinate across multiple client accounts; develop and edit materials to align with each client’s voice; support digital communications, including email campaigns, website updates, and social media; assist in planning and executing communication plans, campaigns, and events; coordinate with internal teams, clients, and volunteer leaders to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain organized records of assets and templates; contribute to analytics and reporting on email performance, website traffic, and audience engagement; maintain a proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented approach to support member engagement and growth of client organizations.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, content marketing, or a related field.

- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, English, or a related field preferred
- Experience supporting communications for associations, nonprofits, agencies, or member-based organizations is a plus
- Experience coordinating multiple communication projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms, website content management systems, and social media platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and organizations
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, including ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Ability to create engaging content for email, web, newsletters, social media, and promotional campaigns
- Comfortable collaborating with clients, volunteer leaders, vendors, and internal teams
- Ability to think proactively and contribute ideas that support engagement and communication goals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint)
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp, or similar tools
- Familiarity with website content updates and basic content management systems
- Understanding of social media scheduling and communication best practices
- Ability to work independently while contributing collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong time management skills and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
