Job Summary
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with NYUAD branding guidelines, producing high-quality multimedia content including short-form videos, photography, and graphics to showcase faculty research and artistic performances. Coordinate social campaigns for lectures, performances, exhibitions, and student initiatives while monitoring engagement analytics and producing performance reports. Serve as the division's virtual voice by representing it in-person at community events and responding to online inquiries to foster a vibrant community. Update and maintain divisional webpages in coordination with central Communications, ensuring accurate publication of events, faculty profiles, and program information. Provide live social media coverage for gallery openings, performances, and guest lectures to drive attendance and engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Arts Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of proven experience managing professional social media accounts, developing content, preferably within higher education or the arts
- Advanced skills in Instagram (Reels), TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Knowledge of social media management tools
- Exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills
- Ability to translate complex academic subjects into accessible, engaging content for the general public
- Deep understanding of the Middle East media landscape and cultural nuances relevant to Abu Dhabi
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in crisis communication and reputation management
- Fluency in both English and Arabic
