Communications Assistant / Copywriter

Mid-level Communications Assistant/Copywriter needed to draft and edit content for blogs, press releases, newsletters, portfolio pieces, and social media on behalf of a US- or Canada-based, fully remote web development company. Responsibilities include publishing blog content (WordPress) and social media (LinkedIn/Instagram), maintaining content on company and client sites (Case Studies/Portfolio), informing and executing content strategies, researching and suggesting blog/social ideas, and preparing occasional presentations/reports. Must have 2+ years of content writing for the web and experience with WordPress, Mailchimp, Slack, Google Drive, and Asana. Strong written and verbal English, ability to work effectively in a virtual team, and comfort communicating via email, video, and chat. Knowledge or interest in Certified B Corps, purpose-driven organizations, and quadruple bottom line (people, planet, power, profit) is a plus. Compensation ranges from $30-$50/hour (annualized to $62,400–$104,000 depending on experience/location); typical weekly commitment 3-5 hours (15-20 hours/mo) with flexibility to post/schedule content. 100% remote with availability during PST business hours (9-5pm PST M-F) and access to reliable internet.
