Job Summary
Communications and Marketing Lead for EIT Urban Mobility EntrEduSkills cluster (EIT STEM and EIT Campus) responsible for designing and leading integrated marketing and communications strategies across Europe. Drive learner acquisition and course enrolments, strengthen brand reach, and ensure activities comply with EU reporting requirements. Lead external marketing agencies, coordinate with cross-KIC teams and stakeholders, manage multi-channel campaigns (organic/paid media, social, PR, email, content marketing, SEO), and engage diverse partner groups (education providers, enterprises, institutions, learners, and EC/EC-related bodies). Support UMX marketing activities, ensure growth and engagement across the ecosystem, and contribute to visibility for high-profile events. Requires 5+ years in EU-level communications/marketing, strong stakeholder engagement, data-driven performance monitoring, and English fluency; based in Barcelona, with hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years managing EU multi-stakeholder funding projects
- 5+ years leading strategic communications and digital marketing at a European level
- Proven experience managing external marketing and communication agencies
- Experience delivering multi-channel campaigns (social, paid and organic), PR, email marketing, content marketing, and SEO
- Experience developing dissemination strategies for EU-funded programmes
- Proven ability to monitor, analyse and optimise communications and marketing performance with data and analytics
- Excellent English communication skills (C1 level)
- Ability to provide strategic direction while remaining hands-on
- Team player who can work independently
