Communication Program Director | Architecture

Communications Program Director for the School of Architecture at the University of Notre Dame leads the development and execution of a comprehensive communications strategy, writes and edits content for print and electronic publications, manages print/electronic publications, creates a social media strategy, oversees media relations, and enhances the School’s reputation among key audiences. Responsibilities include creating and implementing a strategic communications plan, producing press materials, updating websites and newsletters, coordinating events and publications (including the academic journal ANTA), collaborating with central university communications, and ensuring alignment with University messaging and brand standards. Required: Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience in Communications/Marketing or related field; ability to engage with diverse audiences (alumni, media, faculty, students) and coordinate across multiple stakeholders; strong writing, editing, and content-management skills; experience with media relations, content strategy, and digital communications in higher education. The role reports within Notre Dame’s Academic Communications network and offers compensation up to $75,000 based on experience.
