Job Summary
Lead, develop, and inspire the Communication & Interior Design group, overseeing store layout, range presentation, visual merchandising, and store communication to strengthen IKEA's brand and create an inspiring, commercial customer experience. Drive vitality and seasonality through a strong commercial calendar, collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Logistics, and Customer Experience, ensure adherence to IKEA guidelines while adapting to the local market, and mentor a team of Interior Design and Visual Merchandising professionals to deliver relevant, aesthetic, and functional home furnishing solutions that reflect people’s life at home. Role is based in Morocco (IKEA Cabo, Morocco) with some travel expected, and requires deep knowledge of home furnishing, retail design, and visual identity standards, plus strong communication and leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Communication & Interior Design, Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Store Planning or other design-oriented retail functions.
- Design-based education in Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design, Architecture or related fields.
- Strong leadership, coaching and presentation skills with the ability to explain concepts verbally and visually.
