Job Summary
Communications and Design Coordinator supports Beacon's brand and communications strategy across social media, media relations, internal communications, and design. Responsibilities include creating monthly content calendars for multiple platforms, designing and standardizing collateral and presentations using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, managing media lists and reporting, coordinating with HR for LinkedIn Career pages, supporting recruitment content, drafting internal communications, organizing digital assets, and providing project management and administrative support to the Corporate Communications team. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field and 3-5 years of experience; salary range $65,000–$75,000; full-time hybrid role based in Boston, MA. Travel is minimal (some local/regional).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, graphic design, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience working in-house or at an agency in communications
- Strong experience with Canva for brand management and template development
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) a major plus
- Experience using media monitoring tools (e.g., MuckRack) and social platforms
- Strong writing and editing skills with AP style
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Collaborative and effective communicator with cross-team coordination
