Job Summary
Common Laborer on Archer Western Construction’s BTX/DFW Terminal F Project in Dallas, TX. Responsibilities include performing physical labor on construction jobsites across commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects; operating hand and/or power tools as needed; preparing sites and assisting with other duties; erecting scaffolding; loading and unloading construction supplies; and maintaining safety standards. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varying weather conditions, and pass a pre-employment drug screening. Strong teamwork and effective communication with coworkers and supervisors are required. The role may involve standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for extended periods and adherence to safety policies and procedures is essential.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year verifiable construction experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods
