Job Summary
Execute sourcing strategy execution to improve quality, total cost, availability, and drive competition while identifying new grow suppliers and performing project management of strategic initiatives. Evaluate end-user customer forecasts to impact raw materials, generate non-binding supplier forecasts in compliance with contracts, and identify and drive cost savings projects utilizing creativity and best practices. Support supplier report cards, audits, and due diligence, maintain key commodity data metrics, and negotiate contracts to support savings and contract penetration. Monitor supplier and company contract compliance, lead stakeholder reviews, and assist in developing functional area and department budget and spending plans.
Required Qualifications
- Buyer, Commodity Analyst or Jr. Commodity/Category Manager or related work experience preferably in chemical supply chain in R&D and high-volume-manufacturing (HVM) environments
