Commodity Risk Management Associate

Job Summary
Develop expertise in assigned commodity areas, specifically livestock risk management, by completing training curriculum and analyzing client operations to determine market exposure and financial risks. Identify and prospect potential clients to educate them on commodities trading, then execute physical contracts, futures, options, and swaps to support risk mitigation and margin enhancement strategies. Prepare econometric models for fundamental forecasting, monitor trading activities against approved policies, and maintain risk reports while participating in position and P&L reconciliation. Work onsite five days per week in a dynamic trade room environment, building a client base and expanding the company's footprint in the livestock sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related fields preferred
- Series 3 license required (must obtain within first 6 months of employment; company will cover cost)
- Livestock Insurance Agent License (must obtain, company will cover cost)
- 5 days per week onsite
- Willing to travel seeing clients and prospects
- Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
