Job Summary
The Commodity Manager will develop and execute plans for sourcing and procurement strategies, negotiate complex business agreements, and manage the entire lifecycle of sourcing projects. Responsibilities include preparing RFPs, conducting cost analysis, identifying cost savings initiatives, and evaluating suppliers for quality and responsiveness. The role requires a bachelor's degree, five years of relevant experience, and strong negotiation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as Supply Chain/Logistics, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related technical field
- Five or more years sourcing or related experience
- Direct material strategic sourcing experience with raw materials and engineered components
- Strong negotiating skills
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills in both Spanish and English
