Commodity Manager III

Develop and maintain the commodity inventory strategy supporting production needs at Morgan Hill and Fairfield sites. Oversee raw material recommendations, ensure accurate min/max levels via data-driven methodology, and evaluate on-hand inventory to maximize turns without shortages. Manage purchase orders, gather bids, reschedule past due POs weekly, and confirm pricing in AX against Long-Term Agreements. Build supplier relationships to expedite orders, review contracts for compliance, and provide monthly demand forecasts. Manage obsolete stock, work alongside Supply Chain Management on negotiations, and train department staff. Resolve cross-functional discrepancies with Production, Receiving, and Accounts Payable while maintaining safety compliance and plant walkthroughs.
