Commodity Manager

Sr Commodity Manager for aluminum pressure die casting, sand casting aluminum, sand casting iron, investment casting and bronze casting is responsible for proactively managing the total supply base performance and spend, develop, deploy and refine sourcing strategy for assigned commodities, identify the best suppliers for the company’s needs and capacities, negotiate pricing & contracts, and secure the overall supply chain of assigned commodity type of parts while adding value to the whole supply chain and mitigate risk for assigned manufacturing sites. In this role, establish strategic actions to take the commodity to the desired level set by the organization working closely with suppliers base, stakeholders and cross-functional teams at the different manufacturing sites. Trigger actions to avoid shortages within the supply chain, excel on assigned suppliers base and constantly overseeing for cost avoidance, value added generation and supply base savings. Key responsibilities include implementing commodity strategies for pressure and sand casting components across regions, consolidating supplier bases, developing plans for supplier performance and improvements, supporting new product introductions, and acting as the single point of contact between suppliers and manufacturing sites. The role requires strong negotiation, cost optimization, global-supply-base experience, and collaboration across functions, with a Bachelor’s degree and English proficiency as prerequisites.
