Job Summary
Commodity Manager Capex leads end-to-end Capex procurement for manufacturing site spend, developing category strategies, leveraging analytics and market intelligence to identify savings, and building supplier relationships to drive cost reductions and on-time delivery across the Americas. Responsible for strategy, RFx, negotiation, contracting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver critical projects on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business, or related
- 4+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management
- Experience managing or supporting multi-million-dollar ($10M+) Capex or indirect spend categories
- Proven ability to deliver measurable results (cost savings, cost avoidance, cash flow impact)
- Skilled in strategic sourcing, RFx, supplier negotiations, and spend analytics
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing/industrial procurement experience
- Procurement of production equipment or capital projects
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
