Commodity Manager (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Job Summary
Lead tactical procurement and supplier management for assigned commodity groups; develop category strategies, manage supplier performance, and drive cost reduction and risk-mitigation initiatives. Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Program Management, Operations, and Finance to ensure reliable, compliant, and cost-effective supply of materials, components, and services. Provide leadership to a team of buyers/analysts, participate in design-to-cost, value engineering, and manufacturability discussions, conduct supplier audits, support NPIs and transitions to optimized supply chains, and ensure adherence to aerospace standards, export controls, and quality requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5 years of purchasing experience, with at least 2 years in manufacturing or supply chain
- 2 years of experience leading and developing a team
- Experience with AS9100, NADCAP, and defense compliance requirements
- APICS or ISM certification a plus, or ability to obtain certification
- Must be onsite at the Seminole, OK site or the Thornton, CO site full time
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time
- Experience leading commodity strategies across multiple sites
