Commodity Leader – Wind Electrical Sourcing COE

Negotiate with dedicated providers to optimize global wind-equipment spend; manage the sourcing strategy for Wind Turbine Cabinet commodities (Pitch System, control cabinet & motors) to drive variable cost productivity and cash flow; lead supplier selection, qualification, development, and full contract lifecycle; minimize GEV risk by aligning with Projects, Contracts, Engineering, Compliance, and SQE to ensure standard terms and pass-through conditions; execute cost, lead time, and defect reduction through contract negotiations and long-term supplier agreements; develop technical and market expertise in global commodity areas; apply Lean and Six Sigma to drive process improvements and waste elimination; collaborate with engineering to implement productivity ideas and participate in ECA/R and Red Launch alert processes; drive capacity planning, transportation cost management, and localization; hold suppliers accountable for late deliveries and non-conformances, support RCA/CAPA with SQE; align with cross-functional leaders to measure supplier performance and improve on-time delivery.
