Job Summary
Allocate and manage inventory for refrigerated produce categories in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Begin days with inventory counts and QC reports, inspect and sign off on product quality, communicate issues to DC Management and Commodities Team, complete end-of-shift reporting, verify aged inventory against counts, investigate variances, monitor production schedules to ensure product availability, coordinate with production supervisors and forklift operators, mark product for delivery sequence, analyze rejections for root causes, track customer/grower product trends, and perform other core duties as defined by the company. Requires high school diploma (business-related post-secondary preferred), 2-3 years in record management in produce, GMP/health and safety knowledge, ERP FAMOUS® experience preferred, strong MS Office skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- post-secondary education in a business discipline or a postgraduate certificate preferred
- 2-3 years' experience in record management in the produce industry preferred
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes, Health and Safety, and Food Safety
- Experience with ERP software FAMOUS® preferred
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Office Suite software experience required
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision; provide leadership as needed
