Job Summary
Procure/purchase and set supplier strategy for all required materials and components for Inalfa Roof Systems products related to the assigned commodity; achieve annual cost reduction objectives through negotiation, resourcing, or value analysis/engineering; plan, organize, and control procurement activities; analyze market conditions and prepare market analyses; conduct cost analyses to ensure quality, price, and delivery; initiate and lead cost-reduction initiatives; select and maintain high-quality suppliers with ethical conduct; review PO claims and contracts for policy conformance; negotiate terms; set supplier strategy aligned with Purchasing Council and CPO; leverage regional/project purchasing synergies for additional reductions; utilize SMS supplier scores and risk tools; provide quarterly activity reports; participate in supplier development and quality audits; lead strategic business reviews with key suppliers; support project kick-off meetings; manage supplier introductions; resolve supplier escalations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent
- More than 5 years of experience in the automotive industry within direct material in the purchasing department
- Fluent English
