Job Summary
Market & Commodity Analyst responsible for analyzing international markets for Sugar, Cocoa, and Coffee, identifying economic trends, and delivering actionable insights to inform internal commodity strategies. Build comprehensive analyses and frameworks to evaluate global trade dynamics, monitor price fluctuations and value-chain developments, and synthesize timely insights. Support creation of business cases and opportunities in buying strategies. Collaborate within the Market Intelligence team to produce presentations and regular reports on the commodity markets and global trade dynamics. Requires business-oriented or science studies, experience in agricultural/Retail/FMCG sectors, strong MS Excel/PowerPoint skills, analytical mindset, and business-fluent English. Relocation support is offered; remote work options include up to 13 days/month from Austria and up to 30 days/year from abroad.
Required Qualifications
- completed business-oriented or science studies or similar education
- relevant work experience in agricultural, retail or FMCG sectors
- proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
- business-fluent English skills
