Job Summary
Execute menu items consistently and efficiently according to Committee Chophouse standards, preparing high-quality steaks, proteins, sauces, and sides while maintaining proper cooking temperatures, portioning, and presentation. Complete prep work accurately to ensure service readiness and work multiple stations as needed while maintaining speed, quality, and organization. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation, monitor product quality, and communicate inventory needs to leadership. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards while communicating effectively with chefs and fellow team members throughout service.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous professional line cook experience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of professional cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Experience working multiple stations and handling the demands of busy service
- Excellent knife skills and strong understanding of food preparation
- Ability to execute consistently under pressure while maintaining quality and attention to detail
- Dependable, team-oriented, and professional work ethic
- Passion for food, hospitality, and delivering an exceptional guest experience
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for cooking
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
