Commit to Serve Your City Year! (Full Pay/Benefits – Academic Mentor)

Conduct one-on-one and small group coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve academic success, attendance, and positive behaviors. Develop literacy and math skills through varied learning activities, answer questions, and encourage assignment completion while implementing a behavior management system. Collaborate with teachers and staff to monitor individual student progress using City Year's data system and facilitate whole-class instruction support. Create engaging classroom spaces and lead extended day programming, including academic enrichment, homework support, clubs, and service learning events.
