Commit to Serve Your City Year! (Full Pay/Benefits – Academic Mentor)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to improve academic success, attendance, and positive behaviors through one-on-one and small group sessions. Develop literacy and math skills using varied learning activities, create behavior management systems, and collaborate with teachers to monitor individual progress in City Year's data system. Support whole school initiatives by conducting extended day and virtual programming for academic enrichment, homework support, clubs, and service learning. Create engaging classroom spaces and co-lead events recognizing student growth. Receive a bi-weekly living stipend, health insurance, and the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award. Begin July or August 2025.
