Commit to Serve Your City Year! (Full Pay/Benefits – Academic Mentor)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance and develop positive behaviors. Plan and monitor individual student progress while collaborating with teachers on whole-class instruction and breakout spaces. Create and implement behavior management systems and literacy or math activities tailored to student levels. Support whole school initiatives by leading extended day and virtual programming for academic enrichment, homework support, and student clubs. Co-lead events recognizing student growth in math, literacy, and attendance. Receive 2-4 weeks of training, a bi-weekly living stipend, and health benefits. Begin July/August 2025 as a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
