Commit to Serve Your City Year! (Full Pay/Benefits – Academic Mentor)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance and develop positive behaviors. Develop literacy and math skills through varied activities, answer questions, and encourage assignment completion while implementing a behavior management system. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress using City Year's data system and facilitate whole-class instruction support. Support extended day and virtual programming for academic enrichment, homework assistance, and leadership development. Create engaging classroom spaces and co-lead events recognizing student growth in math, literacy, and attendance.
