Commit to Serve Your City Year! (Full Pay/Benefits – Academic Mentor)

Conduct academic coaching and mentorship for elementary, middle, and high school students by working one-on-one and in small groups to develop literacy and math skills. Create and implement behavior management systems while collaborating with teachers to monitor individual student progress through data collection and analysis. Support whole school initiatives by leading extended day programming, academic enrichment, and events that recognize student achievement in attendance and behavior. Participate in facilitated reviews of student data entered into the City Year system and help create engaging, safe classroom environments. Complete 2-4 weeks of training before beginning service in July or August 2025.
