Commit to Serve Your City Year! (Full Pay/Benefits – Academic Mentor)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance, literacy, and math skills. Create and implement behavior management systems while collaborating with teachers to monitor individual student progress using City Year's data system. Plan and execute extended day programming, including homework support, clubs, and service learning, to foster engagement with students and families. Develop interpersonal skills through reflection and repetition within a safe, healthy classroom environment. Complete 2-4 weeks of onboarding training before joining the team by July/August 2025.
