Commit to Serve Your City Year! (Full Pay/Benefits – Academic Mentor)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance, literacy, and math skills. Develop behavior management systems and collaborate with teachers to monitor individual progress using City Year's data system. Create engaging classroom spaces and support whole school initiatives including extended day programming, homework assistance, and student clubs. Lead events recognizing student growth in attendance and behavior while participating in facilitated data reviews. Begin service after 2-4 weeks of training with partner teachers and school staff.
