Commit to Serve Your City Year! (Full Pay/Benefits – Academic Mentor)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance, literacy, math skills, and positive behaviors. Develop individualized learning activities, answer questions, and implement behavior management systems while collaborating with teachers to monitor progress through City Year's data system. Support whole school initiatives by leading extended day programming, academic enrichment, and events that recognize student growth. Complete 2-4 weeks of training before beginning service as a City Year AmeriCorps Member.
