Commit to Serve Your City Year! (Full Pay/Benefits – Academic Mentor)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance, literacy, math skills, and positive behaviors. Develop individualized learning activities, implement behavior management systems, and collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress using City Year's data system. Support whole school initiatives by leading extended day programming, homework assistance, and events that recognize student achievement. Participate in facilitated reviews of student data and create engaging classroom spaces. Complete 2-4 weeks of training before beginning service in July or August 2025.
