Commit to Serve Your City Year! (Full Pay/Benefits – Academic Mentor)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary through high school students, developing literacy and math skills while implementing behavior management systems. Monitor individual student progress by collaborating with teachers to collect, record, and analyze data within City Year's student data system. Support whole school initiatives by leading extended day and virtual programming for academic enrichment, intervention, and leadership development. Create engaging classroom spaces and co-lead events recognizing student growth in attendance and behavior. Complete 2-4 weeks of training before beginning service in July or August 2025.
