Commit to Serve Your City Year! (Full Pay/Benefits – Academic Mentor)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for students to improve literacy, math skills, and attendance while implementing behavior management systems. Monitor individual student progress by collaborating with teachers to collect, record, and analyze data within City Year's student data system. Support whole school initiatives by leading extended day programming, academic enrichment, and events that recognize student growth in math, literacy, and behavior. Create an engaging classroom space through proven strategies of learning, practicing, reflection, and repetition. Complete 2-4 weeks of training before beginning service in July or August 2025.
