Job Summary
As a Commissioning Technician in microgrid power generation, you will oversee vendors during the asset build, commissioning, and operational processes including handling power generation equipment and transformers. Responsibilities include daily vendor oversight, preparing and connecting cables, documenting job progress, and ensuring safety and environmental compliance. You will also train new technicians, troubleshoot issues, and maintain equipment mobilization. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 7 years of relevant experience, particularly in the oil and gas or electrical sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years’ related experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry rental or electrical industry.
- Understanding of electronics, electrical equipment and electrical safety
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License
