Job Summary
The Commissioning Technician supports the Commissioning Manager in planning and overseeing pre-commissioning, commissioning, and performance testing for various industrial facilities. Key responsibilities include managing craft workers, documenting commissioning activities, and assisting in the preparation of handover documentation. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in an engineering discipline and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial construction
- Experience with pre-commissioning, commissioning, and performance testing activities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with petrochemical, gas, aerospace or power generation industries
- Strong communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to perform with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and MS Word
