Job Summary
This Commissioning Specialist role involves commissioning, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hydrogen storage infrastructure, electrolyzers, and stationary equipment. Key responsibilities include performing inspections, executing service repair projects, providing training on equipment maintenance, and conducting various tests such as pressure testing and functionality testing. The position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, effective communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with customers. Candidates should have extensive experience in construction or maintenance, with a preference for those with a related degree.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) or more years of experience in construction, repair, or maintenance in an electrical, industrial, or mechanical field
- Associates degree or vocational degree in engineering, electronics, pressurized systems or other applicable field of study preferred
- Or in lieu of a degree, 2 additional years of construction, repair, or maintenance experience in an electrical, industrial, or mechanical field
- Ability to travel as needed to carry out duties of the position – up to 100%
Desired Qualifications
- Industrial gas or high-pressure systems experience highly preferred
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of skill with mechanical systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair
- Ability to diagnose system failures and isolate root cause
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software for reporting and email correspondence

- Must be able to operate independently with minimal supervision while achieving high quality results in work assignments
- Must be able to adapt to changing requirements and meet project commitments/objectives without sacrificing workmanship or quality
