Commissioning Specialist - Electrical

Job Summary
Commissioning Specialist with an industrial electrical background to support efficient commissioning and handover of projects. Work with commissioning, infrastructure and operations staff to ensure best practice is followed and instrumentation/control capability is grown within Watercare and partner organisations. Entry to service, performance testing, and take-over/hand-over by Watercare Operations of new or upgraded assets. Role focuses on reducing risk, improving processes, and delivering successful handover to customers. The position offers a competitive salary and staff benefits in a NZ context.
Required Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification in instrumentation or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 10 years’ electrical experience including some experience in a production environment (operational, maintenance or project)
- Proven experience in driving a strong HSW culture by providing guidance associated with areas of experience and expertise
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
