Job Summary
Lead all pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and performance testing activities for a large-scale petrochemical facility in Adana, Turkey, acting as the Client's representative. Drive commissioning readiness, manage system completions and mechanical interfaces, and resolve technical challenges while ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution aligned with project schedules and contractual requirements. Collaborate closely with EPC contractors, construction teams, and operations personnel to support seamless handover to operations. The role is based on-site for 16 months starting October 1, 2026, within Wood's Projects business unit, which delivers engineering and project management services for the energy transition.
Required Qualifications
- extensive EPC and petrochemical experience
- manage and consult on all Commissioning activities
- lead all pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and performance testing activities
- ensure safe, efficient and compliant execution
- maintain alignment with project schedules, milestones and contractual requirements
- drive commissioning readiness
- manage system completions and mechanical completion interfaces
- resolve technical challenges
- support seamless handover to operations
- significant EPC project experience
- proven track record of delivering successful project start-ups and handovers
- available and ready to start in the country from the 1st October 2026
- existing right to work in Turkey
- willing to relocate to Turkey for the project duration
