Job Summary
Commissioning Manager for an end-to-end commissioning lead at a large EfW power plant (grate-fired) in Tilbury, Essex. Lead the full EPC commissioning programme, manage commissioning teams, contractors and OEMs across all systems, deliver plant start-up, testing, performance and handover to operations, and ensure compliance with HSE, quality, contractual and regulatory requirements. Role requires hands-on commissioning experience within EfW EPC projects at whole-plant level, with a proven track record delivering complete EfW facilities in complex EPC environments. Opportunities to work across multiple EfW sites; open to senior-level professionals with strong leadership, analytical, negotiation and English-language skills.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as Overall or EPC Commissioning Manager on EfW projects
- Delivery of grate-fired Waste-to-Energy plants at full-plant level
- Experience on large-scale EPC projects (£500m+)
- Strong knowledge of boiler, flue gas, turbine, balance-of-plant and control systems
- Track record of leading commissioning safely in complex environments
